Our Organizations

Refuge International’s mission is to glorify God by partnering with local churches to love refugees and immigrants. Whether it is a need to learn English or just a desire for a local friend to help navigate life in America, Refuge is uniquely positioned to introduce volunteers to refugees at the point of their need in a natural and timely manner.

Serving Opportunities

• English Mentor-One on one English teaching opportunities at the refugees home

• Co-Journer (life-on-life friend)-Walking alongside with a refugee family

• “Right Start” tutoring program-classroom based tutoring program with refugee children

• Community Impact-We help you to connect with refugees, where they gather and interact

• COFFEE English Classes-teaching English to our Newcomers so they can succeed here in America

• The Nations Next Door–This gives students an opportunity to learn about God’s heart for the nations and engage them-right in Louisville
